Combat is now turned based
Previously, battles would auto generate hundreds of ticks instantly to simulate combat. Now after 20 combat ticks the game pauses and offers a menu allowing you to focus one of your abilities defend and view stats of both you and the enemy and even view the current wave!
If you are able to consistently one shot every monster you may not feel the turn based aspect. However, when you go against stronger creatures. You have the chance to interact with the combat multiple times. This includes boss battles which now feel much more interactive.
Vaelith's text has been made clearer to what his charm ability is. If you fail 2/4 of his decision making mini game you will be charmed.
Weapons have been majorly buffed on generation. Weapons max strength on spawn: 8 --> 36.
This does not mean these will be common at all. These are still rare. However, rare weapons weren't out shining the others like they were supposed to. This change makes you feel the strong weapons at the time that you get them.
The tutorial is an actual tutorial now vs previously just being a display of information.
